When seated at your studies
DON'T HUMP OVER NOR SLUMP DOWN
like the "Patchwork Girl" or the "Scarecrow," but SIT IN BALANCE, like the UNIVERSAL GIRL
Sit well in your chair, Make balance a habit; Don't slump like the scarecrow, Nor hump like a rabbit.
Sit free at your work, Be healthy; live long. Hollow chests come from slumping, Slumpers seldom are strong.
Sit poised and in comfort While you study or rest, So your heart and your lungs Can work at their best.
Sit back in your seat, Bend forward from the hips; Keep your lungs well filled And a smile on your lips.
There are six additional posters in black and white with various messages about the importance of sitting correctly. They measure 17 x 25".
The original mailing tube, postmarked Grand Rapids, Mich.
Posters are rolled. The "Oz" poster has some faint marks near the Patchwork Girl which appear to have been caused by the mailing tube. The posters were never hung so there don't seem to be any nail holes. There are some light creases and a few tiny tears along the edges. All the posters remain in Good condition.
